Conference Fee Payment (via PayPal or by check)


To pay your individual conference fee using PayPal (sorry, no group payments with PayPal), select the correct amount from the drop-down list then click on the “Pay Now” button.

We do not collect sensitive information (such as credit card data). When you pay the conference registration fee online via PayPal, the transaction is done entirely through PayPal’s site, not through our site. Please, refer to PayPal’s privacy policy for more information.

  • Faculty: $125 by the registration deadline of 9/15/19. $150 late registration – postmarked/paid after 9/15.
  • Students: $50 by the registration deadline of 9/15/19. $65 late registration – postmarked/paid after 9/15.

There is no refund of conference fees other than for serious extenuating circumstances communicated to the conference coordinator in advance of the conference.

 To pay for a group (by check only) please send a check and this group payment form to our treasurer at the above address.

You can also pay when you check in at the registration table at the conference, though that will incur the late fee.

Harrah’s Hotel Reservations & Directions

Please reserve your room(s) BY WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 25TH using this URL or phone number (888-726-6311) so the reservation is credited to WSKW and you get our conference rate. The group code is S10WSKW9.

It is free to book online using the link provided above. To call-in, there is a $10.00 processing fee for using Harrah’s Central Reservations.

PLEASE NOTE: We have a block of rooms reserved for conference attendees.  Once those rooms are taken anyone needing a room will need to book it outside of our direct conference reservation link.  Either contact Harrahs (www.harrahsreno.com ) or another hotel by phone or book through a 3rd party (e.g., expedia.com).

After 9/25, the WSKW conference reservation link will close.

Getting to Harrah’s Hotel From the Airport

Harrah’s Hotel and Casino has a shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel which runs from the airport every hour on the hour starting at 5:00 a.m. and ending at midnight. It departs Harrah’s every hour on the half hour beginning at 4:30 a.m.

The shuttle can be found as you exit baggage claim, following signs to hotel shuttles.

The taxi rate is about $18.

Review guidelines then use the link from the guidelines page to submit contact information and a 250-word abstract.

Session Types

  1. Lecture-Style (20 minute & 50 minute sessions); for original research; projector & VGA cable provided
  2. Poster Presentation (50-minute session); for original research; will be mounted on wall; pushpins provided
  3. Round Table Discussion (20 minute & 50-minute sessions); for facilitated discussion of issues; projector & VGA cable provided

      2. Review of Literature: for more in-depth presentation of a topic
      3. Original Research: for presentation of student-led research
